Hi, remember me? I'm the gal who has been chillin' and not blogging.
With that said, I'll get myself back to this blog. We actually had a great end to summer and I keep meaning to get on here to re-cap all the happenings, but honestly I just get lazy. Hopefully some of y'all are still around, but if not, I don't blame you a bit.
So where have we been these last few weeks you ask?
We started off with a celebration in NC with Rob's Grandfather for a much deserved volunteer award.
Rob finally got me to Chapel Hill for a campus visit, where we stocked up on everything Carolina. His Dad and sister both did their undergrad at UNC, so this marriage has now made me a Carolina girl.
After a long weekend in NC, Rob and I visited two dear friends who used to live here in our neighborhood and who have recently relocated to PA...an adorable waterfront home in PA!
I was immediately in love with their house and all the gorgeous touches they've completed since moving in. Bonnie has such a creative mind and has really turned this into a charming home! Can you imagine having this peaceful view each morning and evening? I can only imagine the amount of wine I could consume on this relaxing deck each day. They were the sweetest hosts and made our weekend perfect. I mean come on, she had these in her kitchen.
She even had a cute basket set up in our bedroom with many needed items. These are the special touches that I just love.
Speaking of special touches, I think this may have been Rob's favorite. The go to basement fridge.
It was the perfect getaway weekend, and so relaxing. Thanks again to Bonnie and Mike for having us! You can be certain we'll show up at your door before you know it.
Our sweet hostess!
Now getting back to MD, I completed my first 5K color run. Have y'all done this before? It's so fun and it was great that I was able to enjoy it with these girls.
They came up for the weekend and stayed with us. We had a wonderful dinner on the water and then a blast the next morning at the 5K!
Well I guess that about covers our last few weeks, or month I should say. I recently got back from Charleston for Rob's stepbrother's wedding, but that is going to need an entirely separate post.
Thanks for having me back! :)
